The Chandra Grahan on May 26, 2021 16.44 hrs shall take place in the Scorpio sign so it will have a huge impact on it.

A Penumbral Lunar Eclipse (Upachaya Chandra Grahan) is expected to occur on the Purnima Tithi of Vaishakha, Shukla Paksha, as per the traditional Hindu calendar. This day shall concur with May 26 as per the Gregorian calendar. The eclipse shall occur between 2:17 PM to 7:20 PM, but it won’t be visible to the naked eye in several parts of the country. It may be visible only in the eastern and north-eastern parts of the country.
However, it won’t be a total Lunar eclipse. During a penumbral lunar eclipse, the Sun, Earth, and Moon are not perfectly aligned. The Earth blocks some of the Sun’s light from directly reaching the Moon with the outer part of its shadow. This is called penumbra and hence, the name penumbral. Furthermore, from a religious perspective, the penumbral or Upachaya Chandra Garahn is insignificant. Therefore, Sutak will not be applicable. Nonetheless, the movements of the planets shall affect the horoscope on the day of the eclipse.
This Chandra Grahan shall take place in the Vrishchik Rashi (Scorpio). During the occurrence, Surya (Sun), Shukra (Venus) and Rahu shall be in Vrishabha Rashi (Taurus), Ketu and Chandra (Moon) shall be in Vrishchik (Scorpio), Shani (Saturn) in Makar (Capricorn), and Guru (Jupiter) shall be in Kumbha (Aquarius).
