UP Technical and Education Minister Ashutosh Tandon said that CM Yogi Adityanath had asked him and Health Minister Siddarth Nath Singh to visit the Gorakhpur hospital and submit a report on the deaths of children. “Proper investigation is to be done and quick action needs to be taken. It is a serious issue and the Opposition should not politicise the issue,” said Siddarth Nath Singh while speaking to media persons.
Meanwhile, more appalling details have emerged underlining the poor health facilities at the hospital. One of the doctors today said that number of patients increase during monsoon season and two patients are admitted on the same bed. The hospital does not have enough number of doctors, he said.
