Uttar Pradesh Assembly Elections 2027: Did My 2023 Predictions Already Indicate a Challenging Phase for Yogi Adityanath?

An Astrological Study Based on the Natal Horoscope, Vimshottari Dasha, Sade Sati, Bhinnashtakavarga and the Progression Chart by Manu Smriti

Introduction

On 28 December 2023 at 20:30 hrs (New Delhi), I published my astrological assessment of Yogi Adityanath’s horoscope, examining his political future through multiple predictive systems of Vedic Astrology.

The analysis was subsequently reproduced on 14 July 2024, and it outlined a prolonged period of challenges extending from June 2023 to June 2027. At that time, the 2027 Uttar Pradesh Assembly election was still years away. Based on the horoscope, Vimshottari Dasha, Sade Sati, Bhinnashtakavarga, Dashamsha, Navamsha and the Progression Chart by Manu Smriti, I concluded that the period required exceptional caution and could coincide with setbacks in political stature. Due to the above he lost elections in the UP in 2024

With the Uttar Pradesh Assembly elections expected in February–March 2027, it is appropriate to revisit those earlier observations.

Earlier Predictions (Published in December 2023)

My principal observations were as follows:

1. Vimshottari Dasha

Yogi Adityanath entered:

Ketu–Mercury

Although Mercury, as lord of the 2nd and 11th houses placed in the 10th house, offers professional support, Ketu’s placement in the 12th house under Saturn’s influence was assessed as reducing the overall strength of the period.

2. Beginning of Venus Mahadasha

From 20 November 2024, Venus Mahadasha commenced for twenty years.

Although Venus is the 10th lord in the natal chart, I noted several concerns:

• Venus weakened in the Navamsha.
• Venus weakened in the Dashamsha.
• Association with restrictive combinations in the progression analysis.

These combinations were interpreted as indicating greater professional challenges during the initial years of the Mahadasha.

Sade Sati and Saturn’s Influence

A major factor in the analysis was Saturn.

According to my assessment:

• Saturn possesses only 2 Bhinnashtakavarga points in Aquarius.
• Transit over the natal Moon during Sade Sati was assessed as reducing support.
• Saturn’s subsequent movement into the second house from the Moon (March 2025 to June 2027) was also interpreted as a demanding phase.
• A further period of caution was identified if Saturn returned to Pisces during its retrograde cycle.

For a Leo Ascendant, Saturn functions as a significant functional malefic, making its major periods particularly important in predictive analysis.

Progression Chart by Manu Smriti

The Progression Chart formed the central pillar of my forecast.

The period from:

June 2023 to June 2027

was assessed as one of the weakest political phases in the horoscope.

The principal reasons were:

• Progressed Lagna Lord weakened.
• Progressed 10th Lord weakened.
• Eclipse-like configuration involving the luminaries.
• Moon in Krishna Paksha.
• Affliction to the 10th house.
• Debilitated Venus in divisional analysis.
• Weak professional indicators in Dashamsha.

Taken together, these combinations suggested sustained pressure on political position and public image.

Important Predictive Parameters

The following astrological combinations were highlighted as particularly significant:

• Weak Lagna Lord in the Progression Chart.
• Weak 10th Lord.
• Eclipse configuration affecting reputation.
• Moon afflicted by Saturn and Mars.
• Venus (10th lord) weakened in divisional charts.
• 10th house under adverse influence.
• Saturn’s continued pressure during Sade Sati.
• Weakening of political authority through progression analysis.

Interpretation for the 2027 Uttar Pradesh Assembly Election

Based on the analysis published in 2023, I concluded that the period extending to June 2027 represented one of the most testing phases in Yogi Adityanath’s political career.

Since the expected Uttar Pradesh Assembly election falls within this time frame, my astrological assessment indicated that:

• the election could prove highly competitive,
• maintaining political authority might become more difficult,
• opposition forces could gain strength,
• and the outcome could be less favourable than during earlier electoral cycles.

These conclusions were derived from the astrological combinations discussed above and represent an interpretive application of Vedic predictive techniques rather than a statement of certainty about future electoral results.

Running Year (June 2026 – June 2027)

The Progression Chart for this period continued to show several challenging combinations, including:

• Continued Sade Sati influence.
• Weak Lagna Lord.
• Weak 10th Lord.
• Afflicted Moon.
• Afflicted Venus.
• Paap Kartari influence on the 10th house.
• Continued Saturn pressure on career-related significators.

In my methodology, such combinations suggest the need for heightened caution in public life and political decision-making.

Conclusion

The analysis originally published on 28 December 2023 and reproduced on 14 July 2024 identified the period from June 2023 to June 2027 as a challenging phase in Yogi Adityanath’s horoscope.

With the Uttar Pradesh Assembly election expected during February–March 2027, these earlier observations remain relevant within the framework of my astrological research. As with all predictive astrology, the eventual electoral outcome will depend on many factors beyond astrology alone, and the public verdict can only be known after the election.
