Acharya (Dr.) Anil Aggarwala is a Research Astrologer with an engineering background who has devoted many years to the study and application of Vedic Predictive Astrology. He received extensive training at Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan, New Delhi, from 2007 to 2013, under the guidance of the renowned astrologer Shri K. N. Introduction

The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) was founded on 6 April 1980, marking the beginning of a political journey that would eventually transform the landscape of Indian politics. From an astrological perspective, however, the BJP Foundation Horoscope raises an intriguing question: does the chart carry an inherent pattern of political instability, sudden reversals and fragile power structures—almost like a “pack of cards”?

This article examines that proposition by correlating the BJP Foundation Chart of 6 April 1980, 11:45 AM, New Delhi, with the tenures of India’s Prime Ministers from 1980 to the Modi era. Particular attention is given to the turbulent periods of 1989–1991 and 1996–1999, when governments changed rapidly, coalitions struggled for survival and Atal Bihari Vajpayee’s first government lasted only 16 days.

Through the principles of Vedic Predictive Astrology, planetary periods, transits and the inherent strengths and weaknesses of the foundation horoscope, the article explores whether these repeated political upheavals reveal a deeper astrological pattern—and what that pattern may imply for the BJP and Indian politics in the years ahead.

Let us first see the Potential of the BJP chart of the 6th April 1980 11:45 hrs New Delhi below

The Chart is of Gemini Lagna and Lagna Lord mercury is placed in the 9th house is a Rajyoga but since afflicted by Ketu, Jupiter, Rahu, Mars and Fallen Saturn and specially the 6th, 8th Lord and the 10th Lord  is not good at all due to the following Parameters.

1.There are no benefics in the Kendra and also Trikona leaving Mercury who is afflicted badly as above.

2.Gemini Lagna is considered to be the most difficult Lagna

3. Jupiter the 7th and the 10th lord is afflicted badly in the 3rd house

4. For Gemini Lagna Jupiter is Marak, Bhadak and also  has Kendraadipati dosh

5. Jupiter as a benefic holding the 2 Kendras forgets it’s Beneficiance and behave with the planets in association or aspect it. it is also Retrograde and losses its good qualities

6. Jupiter here is forming a Guru Chandal yoga in the 3rd house

7. Jupiter is also with Mars Retrograde 6th Lord, Saturn fallen 8th Lord

8, The combination of the 7th , lord Jupiter and the 8th Lord Saturn makes Jupiter and Saturn first class Marak.

9. Jupiter can be compared to Elephants in Animals and it is a known Fact that when this Elephant goes mad has the capacity to ruin the Jungle. Similarly Jupiter and fallen Saturn retrograde have the capacity to ruin the Horoscope and destroy all the benefic effects in the Horoscope and specially the 3rd house of Boarder Countries, Boarder Clashes, public opinion, loss of gain in the land if war takes place

10, Venus though placed in the own house in Taurus is also has aspects by Fallen 8th and the 9th Lord Saturn

11. The Only planet which is strong is Sun placed in the 10th house digbali but again has aspects by 8th aspect of Mars Retrograde.  Hence the Chart is like a pack of cards and does not have the capacity to fight the Problems

For the above mentioned 11 parameters no Prime Minister had the tenure more then 1 year.

The below is the tenure of the Various Prime Ministers of India who had very less tenure in the Govt.

1.V. P. Singh 2 Dec 1989 – 10 Nov 1990 11 months Minority/coalition instability; government fell

2. Chandra Shekhar 10 Nov 1990 – 21 Jun 1991 7 months Very short minority government.

3. Atal Bihari Vajpayee 16 May – 1 Jun 1996 16 days BJP government unable to establish majority

4. H. D. Deve Gowda 1 Jun 1996 – 21 Apr 1997  10½ months Coalition government; lost Congress support

5. I. K. Gujral 21 Apr 1997 – 19 Mar 1998 11 months Coalition instability

6. Atal Bihari Vajpayee 19 Mar 1998 – 13 Oct 1999*~19 months Government lost confidence vote by one vote in April 1999

There were other Prime ministers whose Tenure was more and specially Narender Modi due to their Natal Charts Very strong.

Hence my hypothesis get validation by the above 

NARENDER MODI

The chart of Narender Modi is extraordinary strong but The progression charts as predicted by me  by Manu Smriti indicate and Rajyoga split in the Progression year till Sept. 2026 and then from Sept. 2026 to 2027 the most challenging Time frame . it will be a litmus test as can be seen  he had to  Agree to the demands of the Cockroach Janta Party whose Horoscope as compared to BJP is thousands time better.

INDIA

Running the dasha of Mars who is the 12th Lord of Foreign Connection and the 7th house of Foreign relations and placed in the 2nd house of India Foundation chart becomes strong Marka  and for this reasons the Cockroach Janta Party has come from US and will make Strong transformations in India and in Politics. The Dasha of mars has started on the 9th sept. 2025 and will last till Sept. 2032 after which Rahu Dasha will Start and considered very good in Lagna and the sign Taurus of the Foundation chart The Next 18years there will be all round Progress after Sept. 2032 and India may become a super Power in the world

The CJP has started their manifesto against the Education system of India and hence this is a case of Disputes and Litigation. The house which Represent the Attacker King is seen from the Lagna and the Defending King by the 7th house.

The following Parameters are of concern which  crystal clear point out that this CJP will give a very tuff time time to the BJP and the Education system and other issues.

1. Mercury the Lagna Lord is stronger then the 7th Lord Jupiter.
2.  Mercury the Lagna Lord and the 2nd and 9th Lord exchange form a strong Karmadhipati and Dharmadhipati Yoga  forming Dhan yogas also .
3. 7th  house is in Paap Kartari yoga and also Saturn the karka for Masses
4. The Attacker King houses are from the 9th to 2nd  has all benefics and the 3rd to 8th  houses are of the defender king which has all the malefics.
5. The Karna is Naga very good to fight.
6. Amavasya and Saturday very good to fight. and hence for the Attacker King
7. 7th house is in Paap Kartari yoga the Govt. may apply all odd methods  to disperse  the agitation Parents and Students on the 6th June 2026

9.  Lagna Lord and the 9th Lord are related the enemy will come for sure against the Govt.
10. The Battlefield of the attacker King(10th House) is very strong hence the Attacker King Wins in his mission.
11.  Benefics in the 10th house Venus and Jupiter will Bring peace and a compromise after accepting the demands of the Attacker King.
12. Dual Lagna and the strongest planet is Mars and as counted from Lagna is 8 hence it may take 8-12 months for the Problem to be solved

For this analysis, the CJP and protesting youth were considered the Attacker King, represented from the Lagna, while the establishment/Government was treated as the Defending King, represented through the 7th house.

1. Rahu in the 6th house  will be able to handle all enemies and Having aspect of Jupiter from the 10th house—- Ashtlakshmi Yoga of the first Order.
2. Saturn Connect to the 9th house, 10th Lord and the 11th Lord will make the Party devoted to work with highest order.
3. Connection of the Lagna Lord Mercury in the 9th house with 10th, Lord, and 11th Lord Moon and Exchange between the 9th and the 10th Lord  and Sun in the 9th house is an extraordinary Rajyoga
4. Jupiter as Kendra Lord and specially the 7th house will behave with the planets associated and is not afflicted is with Venus the 9th and the 2nd  Lord will give huge success in their mission.

The Dasha in operation is of Sun placed in the 9th house  with other planets forming highest Rajyogas and Sun is Royality and Status and Dasha is till 3-2-2030  and after which Moon Dasha Exalted for 10th years making the highest Rajyogas till 3-2-2040 This time frame will be the  best for the Cockroach Janta Party making a major dent in the Politics of India and rule in the Indian Politics

 All the above Parameters indicate that the horoscope of CJP almost Scores 8/10 and that of BJP just 4/10
