Demon Rahu, when afflicted, is the primary planetary force responsible for turmoil, particularly in the stock and financial markets. Its influence can create panic and overturn market trends in an instant.
On Tuesday, February 25, the benchmark Nifty 50 index fell for the sixth consecutive session, slipping 5.80 points (0.03%) to close at 22,547.55. Over these six sessions, the Nifty 50 has declined by more than 400 points. The market downturn traces back to October 2024. On September 24, 2024, the Sensex crossed the 85,000 mark for the first time, while Nifty peaked at 26,250. However, as of February 25, 2025, Nifty has dropped to 22,547, and the Sensex stands at 74,602—reflecting a sharp decline of approximately 3,500 points for Nifty and 9,500 points for Sensex.
The continuous downtrend began in October 2024, coinciding with the solar eclipse on October 3 in Virgo, a bearish sign. This astrological event has played a key role in the market’s decline. From October 2024 to February 2025, Rahu remained in an afflicted motion for 56 days, triggering instability. Looking ahead, Rahu is set to be afflicted for another 51 days between March and May 2025, potentially exacerbating market volatility.
Mathematically, Nifty has declined by 3,500 points over the past five months while Demon Rahu was afflicted for 51 days. Given that Rahu will be afflicted for the same duration in the upcoming three months, the market downturn in this shorter timeframe could mirror the previous decline. This suggests that Nifty could potentially drop below the 19,000 level.
However, this is based on research and mathematical projections—how events unfold in reality remains to be seen. On a more optimistic note, if Nifty falls below 22,000, there is a possibility of further bleeding toward the 21,000 level.
