Why the Rupee Collapse Is Structurally Inevitable: Jupiter, the 8th House & Lunation Triggers

An additional and very critical astrological factor behind the Rupee hitting a new all-time low of 90.72 against the US Dollar is the severe affliction of Jupiter, the natural Karaka for wealth, finance, banking confidence, and national prosperity.

1️⃣ Jupiter’s Double Role in India’s Foundation Chart and Transit

In the India Foundation Chart (15 August 1947, Taurus Lagna):

• Jupiter is the 8th lord (sudden shocks, collapse, crisis) and also the Lord of the 11th house in affliction in the natal and also in Transit

• Jupiter is placed in the 2nd house (currency, treasury, reserves, wealth) in Transit and in the 6th house in the natal chart. Both Conditions are not good when Jupiter from the 2nd house in Transit activates the Jupiter in the 6th house of the Natal chart

• Jupiter is also placed 12th from the Natal Moon.

This alone makes Jupiter highly vulnerable, because:

• The 8th lord sitting in the 2nd house in Transit and specially most Malefic Planet for Taurus Ascendant of India often brings erosion of wealth

• Placement 12th from Moon drains public confidence and financial stability

At present, Jupiter is badly afflicted in transit and fallen, magnifying its destructive role instead of its protective one.

As highlighted in my earlier articles, all planetary energies are converging on the 8th house, which governs:
