I have tried to see the Planetary positions at earlier times when the Recession took place and seems this Recession will be a Harder one and for a Long Term for Minimum of 5 years since Saturn and Jupiter aspect the Signs by 3rd and 5th aspect respectively and till they reach these signs there may not be much relief . The first “decline” of the U.S. economy occurred in the 1930s when the capitalist world was in the great economic depression. The second “decline” took place in the 1970s and 80s during which the international competitiveness of U.S. commodities and capital decreased drastically. The third “decline” occurred during the recent financial crisis in 2007 . The reasons and results of the three “declines” are totally different. Following the first two “declines”, the United States entered a new stage of economic growth through reform and innovation. There are still lots of uncertainties whether the U.S. economy would be able to recover this time, but it seems certain that one, the United States has fallen from the peak of economic hegemony and it is unable to change the trend of plural development of the world economy in the 21st century even if its economy could resurge, and two, the U.S. economy remains strong and will witness a fairly long period of development in the wake of fresh scientific and technological revolution.
Let us see what lead to the Recession in US with the Primary Parameter of the Nodes in the Leo-Aquarius Axis in the 3 Economy declines. The Economy can also suffer when the Nodes Transit over the 4 Natal planets in the sign Gemini the 11th house of the US Foundation chart.

USA has Leo Lagna in the nakshatra of U Phalguni and the Lord of the Lagna and the Lagna Nakshatra is Sun and Placed in the 11th house with 3 more planets , showing the concentration of the energy of the Planets in the 11th house and making it a strong nation with International relations and gains from other nations . Mars placed there with the 3rd lord Venus and mutual aspect of Saturn the 6th and 7th lord makes it war mongering . From the above periods of Recession in the country it has been observed that the Eclipses in the 1/7 axis of the Lagna specially when Jupiter was also afflicted had brought about major Recession in the Country.
Presently the Country is under the dasha of Rahu-Rahu from the Nov. 2018 and Rahu in the natal chart is placed in the 12th house with 2nd and 11th Lord Mercury in Retrogression. The Transit Rahu is also over the natal Rahu and over the natal Mercury in close degrees.
North Node Rahu will ingress over the natal 4 planets on the 23rd March 2019. Jupiter will ingress in Sagitarius on the 29th March 2019 and become retrograde on the 10th April and fall back as a Fallen Planet in Scorpio on the 23rd April 2019. This Time frame seems to be most Venomous one for the Global Economy and for US in nutshell

3. Jupiter Retrograde from the 10th April in Sagitarius and will fall back in Scorpio and remain in Retrogression till 11th August 2019. It will join back in Sagitarius where Ketu and Saturn will be in Transit on the 5th Nov. 2019
4. Ketu and Jupiter Conjunction in Sagitarius from the 5th Nov. to 19th Sept. 2020. Here Saturn will also be there in Sagitarius till 25th Jan. 2020

6. 30th April Saturn will be stationary and can prove most malefic since turning Retrograde from the 30th April to 18th Sept. 2019
7.Jupiter fallen in Scorpio from the 23rd April to 5th Nov.2019 and specially till 11th August 2019 in 2/12 position with Saturn

China will be running the Dasha of Saturn –Jupiter and Eclipses over the 1/7 axis of the Natal Jupiter in the 12th house in the sign Sagitarius will also influence the Country.

From the above it can be concluded that the Resession may Start from US since the Dasha in operation is Rahu-Rahu and Rahu will transit over the natal Sun, Venus, Jupiter and Mars from the 23rd March 2019. The Transit of Rahu over the natal Sun and Jupiter is most critical for the financial condition of the Country
For China the Dasha is of Saturn Jupiter and Saturn-Ketu and Jupiter over the natal jupiter in the 12th house will also harm the nation as far as the Financial Condition is concerned but in the case of Us it is more critical.
