In the Solar ingress chart of the 13th April 1989 21.45 hours Sun was Ill Placed from the Lagna and the Lagna Lord and the 10th house was afflicted , which had Ketu in Leo and aspect of Mars . In Nov. 1989 Elections Rajiv Gandhi Congress Party suffered a setback as he resigned from the Post of Prime Minister . Saturn was influencing the 8th house and was in the 8th from Jupiter and aspected by Mars .

The Day is Wednesday and the Lord is Mercury ill Placed from 8th house 8th Lord Mars and also Saturn , this is a strong Malefic Parameter at the time of the Solar ingress of Sun in Aries .
The Sun in the Lagna is Good but again in the 6/8 axis with the 8th house 8th Lord Mars along with Saturn is also a Strong Negative for the Kings of the Country

Nakshatra Punarvasu and the Lord is Jupiter badly afflicted by Rahu and aspected by Saturn in close degrees from the 8th house

Karna The Lord of the Karna is not connected to the 10th house for good fructifications for the country
The Day Lord Mercury is Placed in the Yama of Taurus and the the second house of the chart aspected by Mars and Saturn and connection of the 8th Lord is the most Malefic Parameter in this chart . The Lord of Yama is Venus and Placed in the 12th house , it is Exhalted , but in the trik Bhava may not be able to give any Protection , since it is the 7th Lord as well
Sun is Placed in the Yama of Sagitarius and a Benefic Yama the 9th house of the chart but unfortunately the Yama Lord Jupiter is badly afflicted and in Guru Chandal Yoga and aspected by Saturn who is with 8th Lord in the 8th house . The sign Sagitarius is also Dagdha hence the Placement of Sun in the Lagna may not attribute good Results specially when this Combination of Sun and Mercury activates the same in Transit when they both will be in the 7th house after 21st Oct. 2016 and till 8th Nov. 2016 the Day of the US Presidential Elections in the US. I will Draw the Chart of the 8th Nov. 2016 also to evaluate the results sprouting from this chart.
The Placement of the Moon is also not good from the 10th House and the 10th Lord amd 8th house 8th Lord and in 6/8 axis hence this is another malefic Factor in the Chart and may not give good Longevity to the Kings and the Queens of the Country.
Lagna Lord Mars is in the yama of Aquarius and this sign has Ketu and the Lord is Placed in the 8th house , is a Strong Negative Parameter in this chart for the Country and even the President and the King of the Country
Placement of 10th Lord in Retrogression and in the 8h house with 8th Lord shows there could be repeat efforts for the change of the Country President and hence the Polls may not be successful or for other reasons
Lagna is 21.11 degrees and Planets Placed at the MEP of the Lagna are Saturn in 8th house , Jupiter in the 5th house , Moon in the 3rd House and all are ill Placed in the Chart under Affliction .Hence from the above and the Principles of K N Rao as Cited above this Solar ingress in Aries for the US Presidential Elections may Prove to be a Bane instead of a Boon
